Stowe: Borders and Boundaries

Mapping the garden of Stowe, searching for a point of interest intersection with the site in Bergen. From the site in Bergen, the start was exploring an interest in the edge in and between nature.

At Stowe garden the ha-ha wall functions as a border but at the same time, it creates a continuity between nature. So, in this static moment, there is also this interesting movement in the landscape.

Over time the landscape at Stowe has changed, and the borders and boundaries have been formed in new ways. Trees and bushes have changed from a stricter form to a more natural form. The edges of the lakes have also developed into more natural behaviour.
