The Boboli Gardens: A Labyrinth

In the Boboli garden the focus was on the labyrinth as a playful element. To open the theme, a strip was placed with different kind of labyrinths and mazes, next to the plan.

In this plan a part of a labyrinth is highlighted, where dots were drawn for every choice that had to be made. By doing this, the finding was that some parts of the labyrinth were harder than other ones. At least for adults, who would get frustrated by not taking the right choice right away. A child would just run through the labyrinth without thinking. In their mind, the labyrinth would become a forest with fairies and monsters or something else.
